Many other countries celebrate International Workers Day on May 1st. France has a holiday called Fete du Travail where lillies of the valley are given out as a sign of goodluck, it is also a day filled with rallies and parades. The United Kingdom celebrates Early May Bank Holiday on the first Monday of May. Australia has Labor Day but each state celebrates it on a different day.
